Feeding The Troops

How many pounds of hamburger does it take to make Sloppy Joes that will feed a mission full of hungry elders and sisters? Well, the total is still unknown because I thought 36 pounds would be enough, but we still have 3 zones to go and I have almost run out of meat. The word of the week should be "RATIONING" . . . but what can I say, if they're hungry I let them eat.

Tomorrow I will be returning to the store to purchase more ingredients for the next batch of Sloppy Joes.
This is just 2 of the 6 buckets of frozen Sloppy Joe mix I had pre-made.

  1. Sister Tye, you are an amazing woman and our sons and daughters are so lucky to have you looking after them. Thank you so much for updating this blog and for posting all of the great pictures. It is so fun to see all of the missionaries and the things that they are experiencing with you and President Tye. Our son, Elder Cole serving in the Cavite Zone has been telling us about their investigator, Nancy. It was wonderful to see the picture of her with Elder Cole and Elder Doloritos. Thank you again for all you do. - Patti Cole, Idaho Falls, ID
