Happy Birthday

No better way to celebrate my birthday than at our favorite eatery - Chili's. I honestly love every one of these servers! They brighten our day when we come in to eat, or when we just walk by and wave. They really are like family to President and me. Dear to our heart!

Here are some birthday wishes from RM's
Elder (and Sister) Iraola, Elder Magistrado and Elder Morales

Elder and Sister Tadina (Sister Fernando)
Sister Koluse
Sister Lacsamana
Sister Briones made me this beautiful cake. Her husband is President Tye's 2nd Counselor. She always makes us the most delicious treats and cakes. I need to photocopy her recipe book -- but she probably makes everything from memory.

Thank you everyone for making my last birthday in the mission field so wonderful!

Interviews

November is interview month.
President usually conducts interviews over a two week period that runs consecutively during the month. It is a busy two weeks and at the end, as we say goodbye to the last zone in the mission, we are pretty exhausted.
We tried something new this time around - Elder and Sister Petersen came to interviews and they worked on CLS with the non-English speaking missionaries. I think having them there to do practice tests and evaluate each missionary's progress made it a very successful interview month!
The following pictures are a little peek into the scattered two week visits we had with the missionaries.

More Senior Couple Blessings

Two more senior couples have come to bless Cavite Mission.

The Broadbent's arrived in October and the Laws' arrived in November. We now have a powerhouse group of senior couples. We can see the Lord's hand in sending these awesome couples to Cavite. They are already doing great things in the branches they are assigned to, and also for the missionaries that they dearly love.

Four Week Follow-Up

Today we had follow-up training with our newest missionaries and trainers. We decided to have the meeting in the mission office and after moving all the tables outside, all 44 of us fit in the conference room.
