Missionary Leadership Council

Yesterday we had our second MLC. Last month it was held in the Mission Office, but this time we had it at the Mission Home.
After President and I moved some furniture, everyone had a place to sit and the meeting began. We start at 10:00a.m., take a lunch break at noon, then work again until 3:00. These pictures were taken during our lunch break and everyone is happy cause their tummies are full and they can still find room for dessert.

The pictures show them having fun and posing for the camera, but I have to tell you how impressed President and I are with your sons and daughters. We sit back and watch them with awe. They have an outline for the meeting, lessons and testimonies are given and they are presented as good or better than any adult in the church. They take the lead and make sure the projector and screen is set up and ready to go. Everyone has a folder with agenda and handouts inside.
The Young Single Adult you took to the MTC is not the same one you will pick up from the airport when the mission is completed. President Tye and I sit and listen - and enjoy their leadership. Their spirits are strong and they are all capable of any assignment given them. Remember that when you receive them back home - they are leaders now.
My greatest joy comes when all sixteen of them stand and sing. Their voices are strong and solid, and it echoes through our home. I'm going to open the windows next time so that our neighbors can listen and feel the spirit too. It is truly a gift from God to be in our position!
We Love This Calling!
