Goodbye Elder and Sister Davis

This cute couple has faithfully and diligently served in the Philippines Cavite Mission Office since June 2013 - and now it is time to say goodbye. Our hearts are breaking, but we will have an eternal friendship with them filled with lasting memories of our 18 months together. The Davis' helped President Tye and I when we were brand new and very "GREEN!" I think we were all "green" at that point, but Elder and Sister Davis pulled it all together. A very organized and dedicated couple - we don't know how we would have made it without them! We can see God's hand in the decision to send them to us.
This picture was taken on the first day we stepped into the Philippines Cavite Mission Office, July 1, 2013
December 5, 2014, packing up the car and heading to Utah - via the Manila airport
I delayed the posting of this for 3 months, (Yes - it is really March 2015), not wanting to admit that they have really gone home. But, I owe Sister Davis a book of mission memories so I need to get busy.
We love you both and look forward to 2016 when motorcycle rides, long talks, and hugs will be shared.
