Cavite Zone Spends The Night

With the path of the Typhoon heading our way, we decided to play it safe and bring the Cavite Zone to our home for the night. Some of the Districts in this Zone are on the coast and in low areas that are prone to flooding. We were not sure how much water the storm would dump on us, so the elders and sisters packed a few things and with the help of our Sr. Couples, 26 missionaries camped out with us. President and I enjoyed the Family Home Evening they prepared for us. We also had study time, ate lots of food, we watched a movie, a few of the elders did their laundry, and we had a bed or mattress for everyone!
They arrived with 72 hour kits packed and ready if needed.
Gathering for rules and instructions for the night.

The typhoon did not bring the expected rains and damage, so Cavite Zone was returned to their area the next morning. Through this experience we were able to get to know them better and be blessed by their spirit and love for the work.
