Next week is Transfer Week so today we had a training meeting for all the newly called trainers. I love these missionaries! They gladly take this 12 week responsibility and are excited to teach and train their new companions. The incoming missionaries will get the best care and love from these trainers.
I told the trainers that they are as precious as gold to us, so after the meeting we gave them "Bullion Bars" as a treat. That's the name President Tye and I have given to Haagen Dazs ice cream bars - because they are as good as gold, and priced about the same.
Aren't they wonderful?
And the office missionaries are enjoying them too.
Oh Oh, one of those trainers is going to be my sons! I am already praying for him!
ReplyDeleteI sincerely enjoy reading these blog posts. I've been called to the Philippines Cavite Mission and being able to get a preview of what's been going on keeps me calm.... AND excited!!! Haha.
