New Arrivals

We received 22 new missionaries from the Manila MTC today. When they arrived we had muffins, fruit, and mango juice waiting for them. The elders were first to be interviewed by President Tye. As they were coming and going with interviews, Elder Davis involved the others with a scripture game. Then Sister Leavitt and Sister Cabusca - two of the Sister Training Leaders - taught a short lesson.

After morning orientation it was time for lunch.

Saying Good-Bye

We started out the month of June by saying good-bye to four of our missionaries. After 18 months - 2 years of full time missionary service, they are heading home.
After a session at the Manila Temple, we went to dinner at Chili's. Next it was off to the Mission Home for the night's activities.

Elder Tadina walks out on the ledge to hang his tie. This always scares Sister Tye!!!
I love this picture of Sister Fernando signing the quilt, and the look on Elder Tumala's face as he looks on.

Good-bye to Elder Tadina, Elder Tumala, Elder Anderson, and Sister Fernando. Hold to the Rod and set your sights on the next
great (Eternal) companion.
