All of us 'old folk' decided that we needed to be represented at the Christmas party as well, and so we did our own skit. President Tye and Elder West were the main focus of the skit. The rest of us stood on the sidelines as back-up singers.
As we sang the words to "The Twelve Days of Christmas," President and Elder West acted out the words to the song. I have most of the verses in pictures.
On the 12th day of Christmas my true love gave to me,
Twelve drummers drumming,
Eleven pipers piping,
Ten Lords a leaping,
Ten Lords a leaping,
Nine ladies dancing,
Eight maids a milking,
Seven swans a swimming,
(the water splashes as the chickens are thrown into a pan of water)
Six geese a laying,
Five Gold Rings!
Four calling birds,
Three French hens,
Two turtle doves,
Two turtle doves,
And a partridge in a pear tree!!!
All done - except that President decided to throw his raw chicken out into the seated missionaries.
Just wondering - would you call that the 'Bird Flew' or the Bird Flu?'
That looks like a good time. I would have liked to have seen it. Dad will have to re-enact when he gets home. :)
